Research Ethics Management Application System

Follow the steps below to create, complete and submit your application

.Create a project.

.Enter Title and Select form type.

.On the project home page you should then access the filter questions (Section F1 'Start Application') and answer these to determine the questions that are made available to you in the full application. All of the supporting guidance you will need to complete the questions is available in the guidance icons attached to each question. These guidance icons are available throughout all sections of the application and will provide relevant external links where appropriate.

.Once you have completed the filter questions select the “Next” action in the action panel at the top left.

.Fill in the General Information (Section A) and Study Information (Section B). Question numbers within the sections may not be sequential as you will only be provided with the questions that you need specifically for your application.

.Next fill in the other sections that are available to you. Some sections might not be available to you as the filter questions will have determined that you do not need these sections.

.Attach all relevant documents in the Supporting documents section (Section I).

.You must sign the application in the Signatures Section (Section J) before you can be submitted. If you are a student you must request authorisation from your supervisor as well.

.Once signed you can proceed to submit your application. The system will tell you if you have not completed any questions and will prompt you to complete those which are missing. You will not be able to submit until all questions have been completed. If you are a student, once your supervisor has authorised your application it is your responsibility to submit the application.

.The Research Ethics Office will validate the application and let you know if anything has been omitted within 3 working days.

.You will receive an email notification when the review is complete.
