About

The Research Ethics Office is dedicated to ensuring that all research, in particular involving human participants, is conducted ethically and to the highest standard of Integrity. To this end the College Research Ethics Committee (CREC) has assumed responsibility for the review of all College sponsored, non-clinical research, via Research Ethics Subcommittees (High Risk Research), Research Ethics Panels and Single Reviewer Reviews (Low Risk Research).

REMAS is the fully integrated online application system through which applications for ethical review should be made for all risk levels of research. The system is managed by the Research Ethics Office who can be contacted with any queries at rec@kcl.ac.uk. Full contact details are provided in the contacts section.
